Have you ever heard of the saying "boys can't cook! That's for girls!"? I have plenty of times. 🙃
Luckily I grew up in a family that thought differently. My parents cooked together when they could and invited us into the kitchen when possible. My Daddy was actually one of the most amazing cooks ever! (Sorry Mommy! I do love your cooking too!! 😉)
We want to show our son that it's okay to learn this skill at a young age. We want the world to know it's okay. Hey, cooking is more enjoyable with two more helping hands anyway!
Since my son is doing his education at home, this is considered part of his cooking class. He loves every bit of it and it makes my heart melt like a batch of freshly baked peanut butter chocolate chip cookies!!!! 🍪💝
We made macaroni and cheese with tuna and veggies for lunch! Yum! 😺
